Freelance Projects
Apologies if this is not the right place for this posting.

Has anyone used any of the RFQ (request for quote) sites that allow freelancers to bid for jobs?

If so, are they any good? Are there any pitfalls or problems to look out for?

Either reply here or email me: michaelohara73@hotmail.com

Yeah, scriplance is good. They do take a commission, but if you do the job outside of ScripLanace (i.e communicate via email, and then get payed via methods outside of ScriptLance), then it is quite good. I've got over $1000 of work from them in thelast 2 months.

Are you asking as someone wanting to request a job or a programmer wanting to accept a job or a webmaster wanting to setup a bidding site?

As freelancer looking for new leads (though the idea of setting up one of these sites is quite appeaing).

I would be interested to hear of any experiences or opinions you may have on this subject.

i don't see any harm in it as long as you can do the jobs you accept.
