Does anyone know of a piece of software that would allow me to provide a
email forwarding service at my domain? e.g.

I'd like someone to be able to search to see if their
their.name@mydomain.com is available. Then be able to forward any email sent
to this address to email address of their choosing.

The site I registered my domain names at offers this service to their
customers but limit the number of aliases they can have. I want to offer
this service at my site but with unlimited aliases.

Any ideas anyone?

Gave you thought about Gossamer Mail? Yes it is a complete mail program but it will give you even more to offer as well as more control!

I have GM installed on my site, I realise that GM would do the job but I think it would probably be over kill for what I what. I know there are sites out there that just offer email forwarding and that's all I want to do on a separate site.

Can you point me to a piece of software that specialises in just forwarding email?
