Anyone know anything about Active Stats or a similarly cheap live web monitoring program?

I just installed the demo of active stats, and it does not work. I am looking for something to run along side LSQL 2.1. Nice to know how many people are using the site at any one time.

I've never used it. What would you be looking for in a script, i.e what functions? I know quite a few of them, several in PHP, and several in Perl. I would imagine you could use an IFRAME (or Netscapes equivelant, the name escpaes me at the moment) to call the tracking page, so you don't have to be using SSI or PHP includes.

A good PHP one I know of is ezBoo, at http://www.ezboo.com/. As I said, its PHP, so unless oyu are happy using IFRAMEs or something, it probably isnt much use to you.

Hi,

Active Stats is basically a clone of Human Click. If this is the one that was attempted to install (Demo) then its quite clear that its a HC LiveHelper sort of feature that is being desired. I have had my share of bad luck not being able to run the demo (the live chat part) and probably its only after paying that one can get a fully functional stuff.

I could not get the active stats demo to work. How did you / do you find human click? are you running it along side gossamer products? Active stats forum looked bad in my opinion.... do you have the human click web address off hand?

Hi Andy. Ezboo looked ok, but wont work in my situation.

Ultimately something like the who's online for Gossamer Forum, but on its own or as a plugin for things like LINKS would be great!

ActiveStats Demo wouldn't allow the chat part to work it seems. So one has to shell out $85 perhaps.

Click For Human Click Website I had used it for sometime when they were offering free and then I switched to LiveHelper coz it had that Remote User Control request Feature. Discontinued that coz even they went for paid model.

Human Click, LiveHelper all have switched to monthly paid model. Could look for some equivalent stuff on Hotscripts.com

Looks look a nice software package actually, thanks. Its not exactly what I am looking for though... I just want to monitor and track the user on line, their ip's etc.
