I use Flat mode.
When we first enter a forum like Links 2.0 Customization, we by default think that we are on the 1st page of the threads.
To go to page 2, I hit the number "2" down at the bottom in the span pages links.
What I found is that "2" is actually page 3. You have to hit "1" to get to page 2.
Try it. Enter Links 2.0 Customization Forum. Then, hit "2". Then, hit "1".
The practical result is that any threads on the true page 2 are not getting viewed or addressed.
