One of the nice features about links 2.0 is the e-mail update. This update requests the users name as well as there e-mail address.

Why do they have to enter there name when <%Contact Name%> can't be used in the newsletter that I send out once a week. Am I doing something wrong? Or can this be disabled.

I see no sense in asking for a name when it cannot be used.
