In editing my tempaltes I downloaded them with an FTP client that truncates the name to 8 characters and .htm extentions. Now I need to make sure that I have all the correct names as i upload them again. (I deleted the sorce files on the web).

When I unzip the .zip file they also show as 8 characters?

1) Are all the templates only 8 characters long?

2) Must I rename the all .html or can I leave the .htm?
