wonder if someone could shed some light on this or maybe it is a bug ?

I couldn't figure out how my search was working so I went to a sub category of a sub category and picked out a link entry, a garage.
If I search in this subcategory of the sub category the correct link is returned but if I go up one level it says no links exist.

This is incorrect as I would expect it to be able to return the results of the subcategory.

I have re read the help manual but cannot shed light on this behaviour.

Can anyone tell me what might be wrong.
