Messages Limit was set to 3000
One account had 5000 images
Messages started bouncing back not at 3000 but at a higher value (round about 5000 messages mark)
What could the reason be for this anomaly?

Can a user circumvent the limit by popping in mails from remote pop accounts?

We have increased the limit 10 folds as a precaution but still the above is an interesting issue -- count check is based on what -- messages in account or messages addressed to user directly.
