Is this possible?

I want to be able to export only some link fields like one is able to export only some selected category fields form the "Category table editor" menu - in there one can select which fields to export. I am not sure why GT did not make this available for Links table and is this something I can do myself by editing any files so I can select which links fields to export to a file?
