I guess it depends whats wrong in the first place. Personally, I prefer to use one of the 2 backups (just because thee backup restore function in LSQL/GLinks doesn't seem to accomidate for additional fields, so you end up having to manually adding those additional fields);

1) Using a physical backup of the MYD and MYI files (our servers with Gossamer do this automatically, which is a lot off our mind :))
2) Using my Auto_Backup plugin, which does quite a bit more (database, def files, plugins, template, admin folder, etc).

Hopefully yours will be a simple find-and-replace fix, but its not always as easy as that Unsure
