I just finished 2003 for a company. Although we only want 2003, I had to enter a little data from Dec 2002 to balance Jan 2003. This has resulted in an inaccurate Retained Earnings, as the Balance Sheet is showing a Retained Earnings from the few transactions in Dec 2002. How do I correct this problem and/or adjust Retained Earnings?
