How about;
my $sth = $link_db->select ( 'DISTINCT(Name)',{isFeatured=>'Yes', isValidated => 'Yes' });
I'm not even sure DISTINCT can be used in conjunction with other SELECT properties (i.e isValidated=> 'Yes')
