default.log problem?
I usually don't look at the default.log, but needed to tonight to see if a problem person was making fake entries into the database. Unfortunately the log quit logging the IPs of users at the time I changed servers.

When I moved all of my files over to the new server, did I screw something up, or is something else wrong? I tried the fix on the auth.pl time and date thing and it didn't do anything. The date records fine...here's what an entry will say:

fredd logged on at 21:12:35 on 26-Apr-2003 from
fredd added record: fredd at 21:16:30 on 26-Apr-2003 from

Before the move, the "from" would be followed by an IP name like this:

from user-vcautp1.dsl.mindspring.com

This was so helpful when problems came up. Anyone know what I need to do to get this running correctly again?

Thanks!
