What specific issues do you see with the advanced editor? There have been improvements lately that fix the issue where the advanced editor fails to load, or loads in a garbled up way. Any suggestions for improvement are, of course, welcome.

Version 2 will probably have a reimplementation of the advanced editor to make its design a little cleaner, and perhaps make it a little lighter/faster. That said, the double-spacing is one of the few issues I am aware of with the current advanced editor that people are unhappy with (and will definitely be fixed by v2).

Who were you talking to? It may well be a misunderstanding. Although we've made some fixes and minor updates here and there, there hasn't been a major change since the 1.1.0 -> 1.1.1 release.
