well all my dead emails get returned to my server and the admins there pass it on.

A solution depending on the size of your email database is to send out an email and ask if they still want to be listed.

A bit lame I suppose, but give then 7 days to reply and those who don't delete.

I am sure there must be a script out there that can do this, but have not come across it yet.
