This questions has been asked before, and probably needs a FAQ question somewhere - basically, Gossamer Forum has two requirements before guest posting is enabled - the first is the option you selected, and the second is that you have to add a "Guest" user with status set to "Guest". It is this guest user that all guest posts will be associated with.
