Is the recommend_it script supposed to work with 2.1.0?

I am currently using this version of links sql and i get an internal server error saying the following after i click on the "email friend" link:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

i followed the directions for installing the script. Does anyone know how i can get this to work
