Is it possible to get e-mail notification about new posts in a thread?

My problem is, that I get email notification only, if the reply in a thread was exactly to my post.
If somebody replied the same thread, but another post, I even don't get email about it, however the subject is interesting me, so I would like notification about all posts in this thread.

Would be fine to add an option to be able to "Monitor this thread",
or adding radio button options:
(o) Send e-mail notification on reply to this post
( ) Send e-mail notification on reply to this thread
