I see this in your post using the hidden literal feature:

So, it looks like your /quote, /b, /u, /email, and /url didn't get put in.

I think I know why - if you double-click on a button, IE ignores the second click. It's sort of annoying, but I guess they are catering to the lowest of the low in terms of internet users
