Error message for add resource

Error message for add resource
If users leave Contact name box blank when adding a link, they will get an error message like this:
"Column LinkOwner can not be left blank"

Obviously this is not meaningful to users. How can the Column LinkOwner be translated to Contact name? It seems you can not edit this error message in the language section. Maybe I have to work with the source code to change it.
