I posted previously but didn't get an answer. I'd like to create variables that show up in the admin area (link add) e.g. COMMENTS, because this will be a field with text I don't want this text to be added to the normal DB I want it to be recorded elsewhere, like headers, footers, time. These variables don't show in the links.db.

Can someone explain how to do that?

If I go in links.def and add a variable:

Comments => [14, 'alpha', '40x3', 10000, 0, '', '']

This "Comments" field is added after field 13 in the links.db, I want it not to go there but in another database so links.db won't be overloaded by useless datas.
