Hi

I have a problem with Links 2.0 concerning the ID's incrementing.
In fact, when I validate the news links, the program attributes an ID which already exits!!!
It doesn't increment the ID of the last link to attribute it to a new link.
Where does this problem come from?

Is your linksid.txt file set correctly? It should contain the last ID in links.db. Its located in admin/data/

I opened linksid.txt and it contains an ID which isn't the last ID.
Can I change it?
Or is there another solution to obtain an "empty" ID?

Try setting it to the last ID. Then add a link. Does that fix your problem?

I followed your advices and the incrementing works now.
Nonetheless, a new problem has appeared. When I click on the new links (the links added since the incrementing works), I've got this error :

Error: Can't find link id: 2003

I don't manage to reach the sites . Can you help me?

Re-build your directory via the BUILD ALL option in the Admin Console (admin.cgi). The reason that those links aren't "reached" is that the URL.DB file which is used for the jump.cgi file has not been refreshed.
