Hi!

I want to install the portal-script but I don't want that all users must be registered if they want to use this feature!
Can I turn off it?

There are three or more versions of this script. junko, the mod author, explained what each version does in the Links 2.0 Customization forum where questions like this _should be posted! One of the earlier versions, I believe 2.00 or something like that, allowed anyone to store links without logging in. However, bear in mind, that this version will only tie people to one computer to access their links since it is cookie-based and IP address based.

Logging in does have its benefits, since you can access the stored links from any computer.
