Why are temp files written to /tmp and not private/tmp
Hi,

Just a peculiar observation. Why are GTTempXXXXXX files written to /tmp and not /path/to/private/tmp.

Any clues?

Because /tmp is for temp files so why create another temp directory? :)

But Fileman installation has the temp directory under private. What is the use of this. Currently it all written to /tmp and all aborted uploads are leaving lot of temp files there requiring cleanup manually.
