Short/full descriptions
First of all THANKX Alex for your efforts.
I've installed Links 2.0 and got it running OK. I was trying out different templates and am not even sure which ones I put on my server before adding another, maybe I have something extra to delete now.
The latest installation that is working just fine is Links 2.0, Alex's Script Resource Section Templates from the template mod section, Neil Skirrow's second admin update and the Enhanced Template Support addon.
My question IS: When a user gets the Add screen there is a section for Short description and Full details. But when I look in the Admin validate screen there is only one detail screen and it does not contain the input from the Full detail section. So I need to delete a description field from ADD, or add a field somewhere, or change my admin panel to ? What's your best suggestion with the least amount of editing...
Thanks

This is not there by default so you have obviously installed a mod incorrectly.

It sounds like you have failed to add a needed field to your links.def file.

I didn't do this on purpose. In Add.html I can see the field definitions, tried to take out the extra one, but it didn't solve anything. Both add.cgi and modify.cgi have this additional field. I'll try adding a line to the def file as you suggested to see if it shows up in the databsase. But I wouldn't mind just taking it out if I knew from which file. Then again It could be a useful field to have as a backend notes file visible from the admin end, but not the public view.

If your not seeing the extra field in admin, you definitly need to check that you added it in links.def

Good Luck!
