is there anyway to prevent one page (an index page for a directory) from being built by Links2?

what i am thinking of doing is having the main Links directory, with many subdirectories/categories. i wish for one or two of those directories' index pages to not be built by the script, but to be created by myself.

There is a mod for doing just that in the resource center.

i found the mod. the one to prevent links from being created in a certain category?

but does it simply prevent links from being added and still build the index page, or just not build the index apge at all in the first place?

you see, i will have a page created by myself in that location, that i do not want written over by Links 2.
