I am trying to set up Links 2.0 and eventually convert my Links 1.0 database over, but I have run into an error that I can not fix when trying to build pages...

The whole problem is that /var/home/ww/web/fansites/admin/data/links.db.bak doesnt' even exist! How can I fix this?

Try creating an empty file by that name and see if that helps. After creating it, give it the permissions 666.
