First, make sure you KEEP a copy of that backup, just in case. To use the backup, you'll want to (1)delete your links.db file from the data directory, (2) copy the backup into the data directory, (3) rename the backup to links.db, (4) chmod the file to 777.

Go back to the ADMIN and rebuild your pages. Then check your pages to make sure everything is complete.

I did just that.. but that did not ake care of the problem.. the catagorys are missing as well.. all of the files were "0" length files.

You can run Check Cats from admin, and that will go through your links.db file and determine what categories are listed to links in the links.db file that are not in categories.db (in this case, all of them) and will give you the option to recreate them.

I corrected the problems. Now I am gettign a new one.. I have 6 links that need to be authorized.. now when I try and do it I get.

Error! Unkown Action.
The database program received a command that it does not recognize. Remember, you have to call the script from the included html files, not by itself.

It has worked for 8 weeks..then the database corrupted itself, and now this error.
