"Modifying a link" has no protection!

"Modifying a link" has no protection!
Hi,
I don't know if it's the same for somebody else BUT I found out that if I try to modify a link the system accept my modification even if I'm not the one (according to the em-mail) who posted the link!
Does it work this way for somebody else or it's just me?
Some solutions?
The password Mod I've seen around is a good answer to my needs?
This is a bug!
Cristina

Yes get the password mod and use it with the email mod also. Otherwise like you mentioned anyone can alter a link!

Good Luck!

Dear Cristina,

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I already answered this question for you in another thread of yours:

http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...ust&Number=94262

In that message I suggest two mods that would solve your problem.

Best wishes,
Floristan

Floristan,
yes you're right and all this mean that I'm confused about what I've done and what I have'nt with this Links2.0
If the email that I receive with all your replies (all means anyoone that reply not just you!) would have the subject of the post in the title of the mail it would be much more easier for me, and for everybody, to archive all the replies and to remember what has been alredy posted and what not yet!
Anyway, I don't how you can stand a dummy like me...
Thanks again
Critina
