Has anyone ever played with using DBMan aimed at a FileMaker Pro flat file? I'm wondering if the CDML tags could be embedded in DBMan.

This, unfortunately, is not an idle question. I am a teacher and I created a perfectly good work group solution in FMP. Now my school district wants it web accessible.

I've told them about FMP's web limitations and the need to use middleware like LASSO, but they don't have the money for that.

The bottom line is -- what is the structure of the flat file from FileMaker Pro? If it's a delimited ASCII file, then it should be able to be imported. If not, you'll need to do some working with it.
