Stripping out NULL from 2.02 dbman *.db
Anybody have a quick and dirty cgi code to strip out the "NULL" characters from a data base made from 2.02. This has 107 fields if that makes a difference. Just trying to cut back on size. I can experiment with the .db in another work domain. Unix/apache

Sorry about that Alex, went braindead for a min. Had it done about the time your reply came in. Just have to change the db.cgi now in the "sub join_encode", "sub split_decode".
Before you ask, I have modified the 2.02 thru time and just have been incorporating some of the new changes from 2.04. There are things in the 2.04 that do not work with my setup and do not want to try my luck at a complete change over.
Thanks.

Any good text editor should be able to do the trick, just search for |NULL| and replace with | |. To get the last field search for |NULL and replace with |.

Hope that helps,
