I have this idea in my head since loong time. I decided to work it out a bit, and throw into the water in a bottle, if somebody wants to implement it into Links SQL. It would be the time to have such feature...

There are so much plugins already so would be fine, to have them categorized.
The installed plugin list is getting soooo long... Also the download list.

Ideas:
1) On Plugin page, in Installed plugins list, each plugin menu should be collapsible.
Example:

2) On Plugin page, would be also fine a category system similar to Browser page, but only 1 level deep. This would be useful to be able to categorize the Installed/Uninstalled plugins.
Categories could be like: Admin plugins, Links plugins, Category plugins, etc.
By default there will be no categories. The user could create categories as needed, and move plugins into a category, if needed.
Example categories with plugins:

3) Categories should be also collapsible same way as the plugins menus would be.
Can be collapsed to:

4) 'Plugin Manager/Show downloadable plugins' page, should also have collapsible Categories & collapsible plugin descriptions.
Example how should this look like:
( the [ ] means category, + is collapsed, - is expanded )

I think this need is really actual, since there are already 46 plugins published, and much more will be likely published in the future...
Would be fine to implement it through plugin system, or by GT staff, into core of Links SQL.
