Hi,

I installed links 2 and it's working extremely well...but I recently got a strange problem: As I add on new links to the database they don't show up in "what's new" - I am sure the number of days until they expire is set to 7 days -, and neither in the category in which they belong. What's even bizarre is that when I use the search capability to look out the new program it is there in the appropriate category but when I actually go to that specific category the link is not there!!!!

Can anyone please help?

No, you're wrong.

The isNew field is generated automatically through the build script based on values in the Date field and also the configuration of the $db_new_cutoff variable in the links.cfg file. Simply selecting "Yes" for the isNew field will be overwritten the next time you build your directory.

BTW: For someone who has created a "Pro" version of Links, it seems that you do not understand even the most mundane aspects of the program. Just an observation.
