I got the admin part to work, but catagories and links aren't being created when I try to add them.. I enter data for catagories...OK...enter data for links..ok, but when I hit Build all or staggered etc. I get a cgi error, CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed

CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute this script: Error Message: Permission denied Error Number: 13

I'm pretty sure it's a permission error, but I can't issolate it.

Also, in the links.cfg there are a few fields confusing me.

# PATH and URL of What's New page. No Trailing slash.
$build_new_path = "$build_root_path/New";
$build_new_url = "$build_root_url/New";

# PATH and URL of What's Cool page. No Trailing slash.
$build_cool_path = "$build_root_path/Cool";
$build_cool_url = "$build_root_url/Cool";

# PATH and URL of What's Rating page. No Trailing slash.
$build_ratings_path = "$build_root_path/Ratings";
$build_ratings_url = "$build_root_url/Ratings";

I'm not quite sure what goes in these or do I leave them as is?

Thanks,

MAmell

I'm taking it you are on a cobalt server, right? If so, then you need to comment out $nph++ in nph-verify.cgi and nph-build.cgi for them to work.

Also, as it is a permission denied error, check that those scripts are CHMODEd to 755.

Hope that helps Smile
