I have everything set right the admin.cgi is all working correctly ,but what now..How do I start the Database and get it working...I added a catagory but can't find the pages for it....If you could help me set it up please let me know.

After you add categories, links, etc., in order for changes to take effect, you have to build the pages. You can do this by selecting "Build All" under Building.

That should fix the problem.

I tired but it said the nph-build.cgi failed to copy due to permissions were set wrong ,but do you have to have other directories or files chmoded specialy?

When reporting problems, it is always best to include the error screen you see (cut and paste it to avoid typo's).

I am surmising that you are getting an error when nph-build tries to create the backup files. You need to ensure that the admin/backup directory exists and that it is chmod 777. Also make sure your links.db file is chmod 666.

I got it working....it was with the link.db.bak andlink.db.

Almost everything seems to be wrking for me, but not quite. When I do the build all, I get the following error; any sugestions?
