OK I give up I need some help
I am unable to get rid of the server error misconfig that is generated when I call the nph-build.cgi The pages are being created fine.. but still the error.
I have now installed this 3 times on my server to the book but still no joy.
Could some kind person find the time to point me in the direction of the error.
I am running it on an Apache/1.2.4 server
and have set all the dir and file to the book including setting the full path in the nph-build.cgi.. Hmm still no fun

Thanks for the time
Norvin uk

Cheers and thanks for the time on this one.
My ISP ran the script from the command line and said it was A OK. And said I sould try removing the nph part of nph-build.cgi
That did not work so I will give the permissions one a go cheers again

Norvin,

Does your server run cgi-wrap? I've noticed that whenever I try to install links, no matter what, it will not work, well, the nph-build.cgi at least, with cgi-wrap running. Try disabling it. It fixes my problems everytime.

I was getting the same message and typed build error in threads and found a post on permission settings of a bunch of *other* files. I changed the permissions and bingo, worked like a champ.
I went back to find it for you and couldnt.

I vaguely remember typing build errors, or problems.
Good luck
