I got this:

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."

on all links that use user cgis (ie. jump.cgi, rate.cgi, etc.)

I've checked permissions, checked links.cfg for things like bad paths and such. Got it to build and then in two generations, it picked up the generic html one time, and the template html the other.

Now, it goes to the template html, but will not follow links or rate 'em.

Any ideas?

You may have accidently uploaded the files in binary...try uploading again and recheck all permissions--don't forget to change the permissions on the directory itself.

If you have Telnet access, try running the script from the command line. The error messages are usually more informative.

Also make sure you are using the correct perl path.
