My index (i.e. home.html) page is not updated when I add links; however, the actual category page is updated.

My previous problem was related to the ‘non-English’ package.

What do you mean your "home page" is not being updated?

Have you added new categories?

Thanks for the great support.

The problem I had was that the index page did not update the number of links in the brackets (i.e. (34) etc.).

However, I manage to fix the problem by deleting some of the links in 'links.db'.

I used the trial version of URL Spider Pro a few weeks ago and I think that it really stuffed up my database.

However, the main thing is that everything is working fine know.
