After two days of digging through the forums I managed to get as far as installing the script. I even get the admin screen and added a link, all went fine. I did a build all with no errors. But how do I make the first page the catagory page rather than the directory listing. I tried to put an index page there just to cover it up. How do I get it to redirect to the catagory page automatically

The first page is the category listing, you may see this better as you add more categories, there is a modifiaction in the resource centre to also add this to your web sites front page.

Another simple way of using your main web site page as the front page is to define this in links.cfg as the pages directory

eg

http://www.yourname.com

as the pages directory, and edit the home.html file in the template directory, if you are using a html editor just ensure that you keep the tags <%tag%>, when you use build these tags are used to display the information
