I keep getting this error:

"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."

when ever i try to run any of the Building and verifying link functions.

All directories are have the right chmod 777 for pages, backup

All cgi program have 755

I am not sure what i am doing wrong.

Your server may not allow nph files to be run from the web. try from telnet and see if that works.
