Hello,

I was posting problems in the wrong forum I think so I'll start by saying my original problem with my template page I was creating is fixed, and the problem was due to the .css reference. Not sure how or what cascading style sheets do with Links, but I deleted them.

Now I'm having problems with not getting my categories, date, page title, etc. to show up in place of the special tags.

What am I doing wrong??

Well I guess it was only a matter of time and persistance.

I found the problem, my html program (a wysiwyg program) was inserting the actual charactor code for the '< >' brackets so it showed up correctly on the web page but when you go into the source code I saw that it was all messed up, so to close this out if you want to use a html program make sure you check it with a text editor.
