Can't locate db.pl

Can't locate db.pl
I'm trying to install Links 2.0. When I go to http://..../admin.cgi I get the message: "Error including libraries: Can't locate /pageone/cgi-bin/links/admin/db.pl in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005 .) at admin.cgi line 28."

Db.pl is in the same directory as admin.cgi.
What did I do wrong?

I've searched this forum; i've uploaded in ASCII-mode; permissions are correct (chmod 755); path is correct (I think, because admin.cgi responded), but still db.pl couldn't be located.
