Hi, when i click on the build link in the admin.cgi file i get the following error;

CGI ERROR

Error Message : unable to open what's new page: /index.html. Reason: Permission denied
Script Location : nph-build.cgi
Perl Version : 5.00503

The script builds the main index page, but when it comes to the 'Cool', 'New' etc folders it doesn't work. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Change permissions of the following directories:

Cool
New
Ratings

to 777 (drwxrwxrwx)

There is a FAQ in the Resource Center that shows all permissions for files and directories in the Links program. Also refer to your README file that also contains a directory/file/permission section.

try to put permission data directory : 777

Hi, i have it fixed now... Somehow the files were uploaded via CuteFTP in Binary mode, not ASCII mode. Thanks anyway.
