Add.cgi, ODDEST thing
Hey all!.. I've had and used links on my domian...it's still unused for all intent and purposes as I'm not ready for promotion yet..

My neighbor tried it out and got this error (below) it didn't do it during my test after install..

Now..I've replaced add.cgi, four times, I've also redone the links.cfg to no avail..

Second odd part is, after you post and get this error...I can validate links and the ad will be there for validation!...

Please please help?..THANKS!!!!!:-):-)

If it is adding the record to validate.db just fine, then the problem is in the email notification part of the script. Since it says that "maybe you didn't strip carriage returns", that means that the script that handles the mail was not uploaded in ASCII. Reupload both nph-email.cgi and Mailer.pm, ensuring both are uploaded in ASCII mode and I bet the problem goes away.

I hope this helps.
