MrPostman is becoming popular for accessing the webmail accounts thru Outlook Express. Recently found a configuration script for indiatimes.com webmail account (attached) using which i could access the indiatimes email account thru Outlook Express and could download mails....

The configuration script (which is different for different webmail services) is attached. Could a similar script be done for GM?

Similar thing (accessing webmail thru desktop clients) is also possible for hotmail/yahoo/mail.com/outlookwebaccess using same mr Postman. Other webmails access is also possible using a similar script as attached in post above.

If a similar script could be there for GM then even GM webmail could be accessible from destop clients. As an example, the author sent the IndiaTimes.com working script saying that similar script could be done for any webmail ... with the core of MrPostman remains unchanged.

Is it possible for GM?

Getting Closer To Actually Downloading Message Through Outlook Express using Mr Postman.

Some error on pattern mismatch on line 61... But the great point is that could connect to GM webmail account using Outlook Express and MrPostman with the config script as attached...

Script attached for GM in case it could be ironed out or expanded further as there are minor problems in getting the message downloaded...

The Compatible version of MrPostman can be downloaded from:

as the version on sourceforge.net is having hard coded popular webmail modules.
