Oh dear. As anyone reading my myriad recent long-winded posts in this and the LinksSQL Discussion forum will have noticed, I'm trying to make the switch from running Links SQL in cgi mode to php mode. However, I'm currently using some mod_rewrite rules so that the pages can be accessed through "static-looking" urls (this is mostly for search engine friendliness).
Having only just now started to look at the links generated by the php templates, I'm wondering if it will be possible to keep my static-like pages? Has anyone come up with a set of mod_rewrite rules that rewrites to page.php instead of page.cgi? Is it even possible to do so without making some major modifications to the script (since I can't seem to find any easy way of generating static links with the PHP templates)?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
