Massive memory hogging on "Add link"
I have now imported the Top/Regional/North_American category from dmoz (I need this for my site .. not a luxury).

After this, I found that when I try to add a link ... apache goes wild.

I'm looking at 99% CPU usage

>> CPU1 states: 99.4% user, 0.1% system, 0.0% nice, 0.0% idle

And abnormal memory usage.

>> 1105 nobody 16 0 297M 297M 4552 R 99.9 29.6 2:20 httpd

Any clues at all on what could be causing this?

Possibly building the "category" drop-down menu?

Try setting it so that when someone adds a link, it thery must come from the category page that they want to add it too (can't remeber it off by heart). That way, the category will be loaded automatically, and less work will need to be done by Links SQL/the server.

Hope that helps Tongue
