Invalid email address format: ... already exists
I just got the dbman program running on my server at:

http://www.idfw.com/cgi-bin/dbman/db.cgi

I added the User-Friendly hmtl mod to the script and everything looks swell. Until you go to add a new account on-line. When I enter the new user ID and password, I get the following error. Anyone got an idea?

Invalid email address format: ''.email address already exists.email address already exists.email address already exists.

Is this before or after you add the new username and email address?

After, however, I am not even entering an e-mail address. The new account menu only asks for a user name and password.

Thanks again for all your help with the nifty little dbman program!

I'm going to need to see your html.pl file.

Please copy it to a web-accessible directory -- one where you would place html files -- and rename it to html_pl.txt. Then come back here and let me know where it is.

From the sound of it, you have some parts of the secure password lookup mod, but not others. Have you installed any modifications?

Thanks so much for all your wonderful assistance. I do appreciate it.

I copied the html.pl file as you requested to the following folder on my server.

/pub/incoming/html.pl.txt

Just FTP to ftp://ftp.idfw.com and login as
anonymous or use your browser. Thanks again.

I'm afraid that I can't access the file. I get a message that the browser "can't find" the file, even though the name of it is right there.

Have you made any modifications to any of the scripts, aside from using the "user-friendly" html.pl file?
