script to load in records from other database
I have been looking in the forums but have not found an answer: is there a script that will read
records out of an asci flatfile and load them into
the DBMan database? ( I have worded hard to
get the fields in the DBMan database to be in
the same order as the fields in the flatfile.
There are about 500 records and I don't want to type them in one at a time!

The "regular flavor" of dbman is a flat file.. If you haven't already started using dbman (ie, let anyone add/modify records) then you can use your flat file as the database. Or you can pull it into Microsoft Excel and format it too. Be sure to set your counter to the next available number. If you have records 1-500, set the counter to 501.
