I am wondering if anybody has tried this. I would like to after logging on to have a picture of a calendar (like the calendar in outlook). I want to then click on a date and this will allow me to add an appointment which will be written into the database.

Not sure if it is possible... but you may be able to "tie in" a calendar script. Check out http://www.mattkruse.com or www.calendarscript.com

I have used this calendar script on several sites and have found it to be very user-friendly and easy to modify. I use it at work instead of the one with Outlook.

I also use a JavaScipt calendar that allows my users to pick a date and have it populate a date field (may not help, but it may give you an idea).
